The Dream Runner

Bhaskar stood still. Beholding the Guardian standing in front of him. The twin blades, which Bhaskar sought, were just behind the Guardian. The blades were precisely what he saw in his dream. A recurring dream for the last few months. He managed to reach the cave hidden in the incredibly dark forest by reminiscing his dream. His master's voice resonated in his mind, “Follow your dreams, they shall lead you to your destiny”. Bhaskar's eyes glinted at the glimpse of the twin blades. He could see his destiny in front of him. It was the Guardian, who stood between him and his destiny. There wasn't a feeblest hint of this Guardian in his dreams. Bhaskar had pre-assumed that this hunt for the blades won’t be an easy one, if it had something to do with his destiny.

Bhaskar fixed his eyes on the Guardian, observing his each move. The Guardian was nearly twice the size of him. However, he was not taller than Bhaskar. The Guardian's skin was one of a kind. It seemed like a Rhino. His muscular body depicted the power that lay in those muscles. Though Bhaskar was not besieged, the tight path of the cave that lead towards the blades was blocked by utter size of the Guardian. Skulls and bones were strewn in the cave. Bhaskar wondered if the bones belonged to the warriors who tried to seize the blades, or even worse, that the Guardian was a cannibal. But this thought didn’t daunt Bhaskar; he only thought of what an interesting adventure this was going to be.

Predicament

"Hey! You didn't like my Facebook status";
She made a face and started to complain!

"I'm really sorry, I did not notice the update!"
Grinning at her innocence, I started to explain!

"You were online and still didn't notice it?"
She looked cute with that angry, furious face!

The Diary

I stared at my modem like an angry bull (no way I look like one, just emphasizing my emotions) ready to assault it and crush it to trash. The damn internet light was dead, refusing to blink. The reason was obvious & simple, my internet connection was not working and probably ISP’s server was down! I needed internet for sending her a FB friend request and the damn internet announce its war with me. I cursed my ISP with all possible abusive words I knew (a rare thing that I do)

“God! Why did the internet have to go dead now?? Please do something supernatural and turn it on! Just for 15 minutes?” I pleaded in my mind, like a kid!
Food, Clothing, Shelter, Electricity, Cell Phone and a PC are the six basic necessities of a human being till now (Yes, the later three are my additions) and now one more necessity was added to the list. The Internet!
“I swear! Everyone should be blessed with internet” I muttered to myself like a maniac.

Miss You

"Baby, I miss you!", She called him at night;
He got up, grinning from bed and switched on the light!

Glancing at watch he said, "It's 2 A.M. honey, you still awake?"
"I miss you, and I don't have any other excuse to make!"

"You are silly and nutty! So now, how to redress this?"
"I just need some hugs from you and a kiss!"

"Your voice and love is driving me crazy"
"Don't just talk, come over here, you lazy!"

Without being more silly, he wore his tee;
Opened the drawer and grabbed his car's key!

When I get there, you should look sweet and pretty;
Descending the stairs, he said, and started his Maserati!

To be continued...

The Bike Ride

This is the 2nd part, Here's the link for 1st part

Though the rain has faded away, its effect was taking quite a long time to fade. The atmosphere was chilly and the ambience was just breathtaking (I should not forget her effect and contribution to it). We were cruising gradually, as speeding would make her shiver more out of cold; and I did not wanted that. I could feel her cold hand on my shoulder, her grip was kind of tight and firm, might be out of fear, cold or something else, I’m not sure; but it was lovely. Other girls have been pillion on my bike but this time it was different, she was not any ordinary girl, she was my crush. I never thought our encounter would be so lovely!

Sweet Meet

“Damn! This rain has a bad timing always!” I was cursing the rain. I was on my way back to home from office, but due to rain, I got stuck in the office for more than an hour. I never liked to get wet in the rain, and my mom had warned me don’t come drenched in rain. Its high command, I had to obey it!

In few mins the rain turned to drizzle, I said to myself, “Let’s move now, its 8’o clock by now”. Though it was drizzling, I got wet as the cruising speed of bike complimented the lame force of the rain. To support this soon the drizzle turned to shower and shower to rain. I’d no option and I started to look for shelter. A bus stop besides the street, caught my attention, I halted my bike besides it. Usually bus stops in India are rarely used for its intended purpose, they are well used only during the rainy season for shelter! Cursing rain and trying to dry my face with hanky (which was dripping itself) I had a look around. I was all alone there, however a car was standing in front of the stop, I did not notice it before, as I was totally focused cursing the dear rain!

Act or Die

Ok; let me ask this question straight away; what you would do if someone misbehaves with your sister? What would you do if your girlfriend/wife is being humiliated by someone? What would you do if your mother is being assaulted by someone? Won’t you freak out and charge/attack with all the power in you? No matter how strong or weak you are. Won’t your blood be busting out of veins due to anger? Can you just sit back and watch someone do this? Answer is certainly no! We just won’t stand back and see the tragedy! If someone chooses to hold back and save his ass he’s with no doubt inhuman and coward but just a corpse!

I was disturbed by this news in TOI (Times of India) on 26th January 2014! Republic day of 2014 started so mournful! The thing which made me more restless was the co-passengers and other people around were part of the situation but were just the sightseers! Shame on such people, society and shame on us! Yes, shame on us! We always want to save our ass, we never want to fight against the injustice happening around! Those few who raise the voice don’t get supported; sadly we live in such society where we’ll hail out loud to support celebrities, we will go on candle march to criticize, we will party all night and will spread party new like we are the reporters of some news channel, we will do all the other things but will not act against injustice!

Enough of this role now! It’s time to act, now or never! Why can’t we just thrash away the goons and hooligans who even dare to harass our counterpart? Such people are nothing but the “Scabies” of society! It should be eradicated completely! Agreed that we should not disturb the law and order by beating up such hooligans; instead we shall help Police to establish the law and order! But gone are those days, the situation is far more critical now, we are our own saviors now! The Police can’t reach every nook and cranny and we just can’t rely on them for maintaining the law and order! We our-self should take steps to maintain the well-being of the society, even if we have to thrash such goons we have to do it! Because that is the only effective solution! Such people don’t deserve the right to live in the society!

It’s very mournful that our counterpart is in such a scorny situation today! How one can forget that due to them we exist! How the hell on this planet earth a man would exist if there was no woman? We need support of woman at every stage of our life, one just can’t deny this fact! Our very existence in this world start with mother! It’s shameful that woman are not safe, particularly in India! The situation is alarming and if we keep on snoozing one day we’ll realize that we are no more going to exist on this planet! It’s a call to save humanity! We shall Act now or accept the shameful death!
